Uninstall Instructions

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to completely remove CleanDeck from your Mac.

Quit CleanDeck

Make sure CleanDeck is not running. Right-click the CleanDeck icon in the Dock (if present) and select "Quit", or use ⌘Q.

Open Finder, navigate to your Applications folder, find CleanDeck, and drag it to the Trash. Alternatively, right-click and select "Move to Trash".

CleanDeck stores preferences and cached data in the following locations. You can safely remove them if you want a complete uninstallation.

~/Library/Application Support/CleanDeck/

~/Library/Preferences/app.cleandeck.plist

~/Library/Caches/app.cleandeck/

~/Library/Logs/CleanDeck/

You can delete these folders manually via Finder or by running the following command in Terminal:

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/CleanDeck ~/Library/Preferences/app.cleandeck.plist ~/Library/Caches/app.cleandeck ~/Library/Logs/CleanDeck

If you had the Pro Edition with the Local AI Pack installed, the on-device AI model is stored separately and can be removed from:

~/Library/Application Support/CleanDeck/Models/

This directory may contain several hundred megabytes of model data. Deleting it will free up additional storage.

After uninstalling, your license remains valid. You can reinstall and reactivate CleanDeck at any time by downloading it again from cleandeck.app.
