Uninstall Instructions

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to completely remove CleanDeck from your Mac.

1

Quit CleanDeck

Make sure CleanDeck is not running. Right-click the CleanDeck icon in the Dock (if present) and select "Quit", or use ⌘Q.

2

Move to Trash

Open Finder, navigate to your Applications folder, find CleanDeck, and drag it to the Trash. Alternatively, right-click and select "Move to Trash".

3

Remove Support Files (Optional)

CleanDeck stores preferences and cached data in the following locations. You can safely remove them if you want a complete uninstallation.

Support File Locations

~/Library/Application Support/CleanDeck/
~/Library/Preferences/com.cleandeck.desktop.plist
~/Library/Caches/com.cleandeck.desktop/
~/Library/Logs/CleanDeck/

To remove them safely: in Finder choose Go ▸ Go to Folder…, paste a path from the list above, then drag the item to the Trash. The Trash keeps everything reversible until you empty it — the same principle CleanDeck itself follows.
